Jeff Stratman has been engaged in law practice since 1998 when he was first admitted to the Indiana Bar. Upon graduation from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, in December 1997, Jeff successfully completed the Spring 1998 Indiana Bar Exam and was admitted by the Indiana Supreme Court in June 1998. Jeff is now actively admitted to practice law in Arizona (2016) and Indiana.  

In addition to his years of experience as a lawyer in a variety of practice areas, Jeff is also licensed as a K-12 School Superintendent in Arizona. Throughout his career, Jeff has worked to serve public entities and public school districts. Jeff has practical and real-world experiences serving in roles as a deputy prosecuting attorney, city manager, city attorney, public school distrcict deputy superintendent and general counsel to school districts and a private business entity.

Beyond his knowledge with the law, Jeff is experienced “in the trenches” of the operations of school districts, governmental entities and private businesses. With his real-world experiences working directly in public entities and with private businesses, Jeff also provides business operations, human resources and professional consulting to his clients that sometimes goes beyond traditional legal services.  

Few lawyers share the real-world breadth and depth of experiences in the law practice areas Jeff focuses on. Jeff has litigated and argued cases on behalf of his clients ranging from the smallest of municipal courtrooms to the Indiana Supreme Court. He has represented public and private entities ranging in size from two employees to nearly two thousand employees. He has also drafted contracts and structured financing for transactions ranging in contract value from several thousand dollars to over $150,000,000.

Jeff and his wife and family currently reside in Metro-Phoenix, Arizona, but he uses modern technologies to represent clients in both Arizona and Indiana. Jeff frequently travels between his residence in Arizona and his “home” in the small river town of Aurora in Southeast Indiana.
